Nordvar is a Swiss start-up at an early stage. A first site is being evaluated in Iceland; the project is not yet funded, and this page will not pretend otherwise. It sets out the model and the discipline. The detailed material is shared directly.

The model

One site, two products
The plot, the grid connection, the power contract and the operations are paid for once and serve both computing and carbon removal.
Compute revenue carries the removal
Tenants pay for computing; their waste heat drives the capture process. The removal is financed partly by compute revenue rather than entirely by credit sales.
Attribution is the product
Removal tied to a tenant's own energy use - verified, counted once, never sold twice - is something neither a standalone capture plant nor an ordinary data centre can offer.

The discipline

Nordvar is built in phases, and each phase passes a written gate with criteria fixed in advance: concept, site and tenant, financing, permits, operation. Passing a gate releases the next stage's spending; failing one stops the work. The first build is deliberately small: a pilot module that produces real data, then a building fitted out in stages against signed tenants - and each later phase repeats only what the previous one proved. A paused project with letters and data is an asset; a half-built one is a liability.

Where it stands

In development: a first site under evaluation in Iceland, no capital raised and no revenue. The figures on this site are illustrative physics from published ranges, never Nordvar projections. What exists beyond it - the plan, the structure, the data - is shared directly with the people involved.
